Tuition for Senior Citizens

The College offers tuition-free credit courses on a space available basis to senior citizens, 60 years of age or older. To be eligible for tuition-waived courses, a student must be a legal resident of South Carolina and meet all admission requirements and the courses must have met their minimum paying enrollment. The student must pay for any additional fee(s) using other resources, including financial aid. A student must complete the Senior Citizen Status Form the first semester for which the student requests the waiver. The College may require proof that the student is eligible for tuition-waived status. Specific registration dates are published on the Academic Calendar found at

Community and personal interest courses through the Corporate and Community Education Division are not offered on a tuition-free basis.
