The Registrar’s Office is where you will go to find your Tri-County Technical College academic records, graduation certificate, transcript and enrollment verification, grades, scheduling and other student records. Other services and information managed by this office include:
We maintain a calendar that contains all pertinent dates for your academic journey.
We recognize the accomplishments of our high-achieving students through the Dean’s List and President’s List, as well as through Alpha Zeta Beta (AZB), a national honor fraternity.
There are numerous ways you can enter the College with advanced standing (receive credit based on previous coursework or learning experiences).
Residency at Tri-County Technical College is an essential part of tuition assessment. Students are required to pay out-of-state tuition if they are not legal residents of the state of South Carolina, and out-of-county tuition if not a legal resident of Anderson, Oconee or Pickens Counties.
All College Catalogs prior to 2011 are available in the Registrar's Office.
CURRENT STUDENTS: In cooperation with the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC), the College provides a free self-service program that allows you to view and print enrollment verifications via eTC. Enrollment verifications from the NSC are typically available to students the Monday following administrative drops for any given term.
ALUMNI seeking an enrollment verification must contact the Registrar's Office/Student Data Center on the First Floor of Ruby Hicks (Pendleton Campus).
EMPLOYERS seeking enrollment verifications should contact the National Student Clearinghouse at www.studentclearinghouse.org or call them at (703) 742-4200.
FAMILY EDUCATIONAL RIGHTS AND PRIVACY ACT (FERPA) is a federal law designed to protect the privacy of education records, to establish the right of students to inspect and review their education records, and to provide guidelines for the protection of inaccurate and misleading data through informal and formal hearings.
Grades are calculated on a 4.0 scale, with an A earning 4 grade points per credit hour, a B earning 3, a C earning 2, a D earning 1 and an F or WF earning 0.
The College holds commencement at the end of the spring semester and at the end of the summer term. Graduates are encouraged to participate in the exercises and to invite their families and guests.
Access important forms related to your student records:
Tri-County Technical College verifies the citizenship or legal presence of all students. Any student providing false information related to citizenship or legal presence may be subject to dismissal from the college. Any student who is found to be unlawfully present in the United States will be dismissed from the college. Our processes and policies are in accordance with the South Carolina Illegal Immigration Reform Act (S. C. Code Ann. §59-101-430 (Westlaw 2008)).
The interactive Schedule of Classes (SOC) is available approximately 6 weeks prior to the beginning of the term. The SOC is subject to change. Questions concerning course offerings should be directed to the academic departments. For complete course descriptions, prerequisites and other information, students should consult the College catalog.
A person registered at the College is considered to be a student only when all fees and tuition are paid. An individual may not attend class until he or she has registered and paid all fees.
Be certain you keep your name, address, and telephone number current and accurate in the official records. This helps us handle your records in a timely fashion and ensures emergency notifications are not delayed.
Students and alumni of Tri-County may request transcripts of your academic records through the Registrar/Student Records office. The cost, $9.25, must be paid upon request. You will need a credit or debit card to order on-line. Requests made Monday-Friday before 3 pm will be available for pick-up the following business day after 11:30 am.
In compliance with the Higher Education Act, we offer access to voter registration forms to each degree-or certificate-seeking student who attends classes on campus.
