The Enrollment and Academic Calendar is available on the TCTC website.
The Final Exam Schedule for the current semester is available on the TCTC website.
Prospective graduates should apply for graduation in the semester before they intend to graduate. The deadline for applying to graduate is published each semester in the Enrollment and Academic Calendar.
Steps to graduation:
Students must maintain a minimum 2.00 GPA to remain in good academic standing and to avoid academic warning, probation, or academic suspension. To graduate, students must maintain both an overall minimum 2.00 GPA AND a 2.00 GPA minimum in courses required for their program of study. A grade of C or higher may be required for courses in some programs of study. Students may verify their overall and program GPAs in Degree Works using the following steps.

Graduation information is available on the TCTC website. Complete the Application for Graduation by the posted deadline on the Enrollment and Academic Calendar.
Once accepted to TCTC, a student will gain access to their MyTCTC portal. The student should navigate to the “My Registration” title and select the “Register, Drop, Add, and Withdraw” option.
Drop: Students who drop a course by the published semester drop date will receive a refund of their tuition/fees, and that course will be removed from their academic record. Refer to the Enrollment and Academic Calendar for deadline dates.
Withdrawal: Students who withdraw from a course after the drop date will not receive a refund and will be financially responsible for the course. Students who withdraw will receive a grade of W on their academic record. Refer to the Enrollment and Academic Calendar for specific deadline dates.
Please refer to the Enrollment and Academic Calendar for these dates, which are specific to the term of attendance.
Instructors who teach courses that have prescribed meeting days and times must record attendance for each class meeting. Weekly attendance is taken for online courses that do not meet on prescribed days and times. For online courses, the College's attendance policy defines a “week” as a “day” for purposes of attendance. Students are encouraged to refer to their course syllabus for specific attendance information.
Students can review course transfer equivalencies at SCTRAC (www.sctrac.org). Once transcripts are reviewed, students can view the course credits transferred by accessing the Degree Works tile on the MyTCTC portal.
Students may have a registration hold if additional information is needed to complete the registration process.
Tuition is based on a student’s residency. Residency is determined by where the student has lived for the last 12 consecutive months. Students who have moved to SC and have proof of residency for a minimum of 12 consecutive months should submit a Residency Petition form to be considered for in-state residency. A student who has relocated from another South Carolina county and now lives in Anderson, Pickens, or Oconee Counties should submit the In-County Residency form. The Residency Petition and In-County Residency form are located on the MyTCTC portal under the Student Forms tile.
To determine citizenship, the College requires the submission of legal documents. To view acceptable documents, see the Registrar's Office Change of Residency webpage.

Students will need to attach their supporting documents to the Residency Petition form on the MyTCTC portal under the Student Forms tile. Students may also email registrar@tctc.edu if asked for these documents.
A hold will be placed on the student’s account, and the student will not be allowed to register or remain enrolled until verification is complete.
No. Under South Carolina law, individuals unlawfully present in the U.S. cannot attend public institutions or receive in-state tuition benefits.
