Tri-County Technical College offers you several ways to further your education and succeed, including offering supplemental instruction for some courses.
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a series of weekly review sessions supporting historically difficult courses led by SI leaders who have previously taken the course and earned an A. These students are trained to teach study strategies and academic success techniques.
SI leaders meet regularly with the professor, attend all class lectures, take notes, and act as role models and mentors to other students currently taking the course. They host two 1-hour review sessions per week as well as exam reviews before each test. They help students understand the material by hosting student-led review sessions using resources such study guides, games and practice problems to explain difficult concepts.
SI sessions are available on the Pendleton Campus and in the Lightsey Bridge Commons on Clemson’s campus. Click here for the weekly schedule, Zoom links, additional resources, and more! You can also see the weekly schedule by following us on Instagram @tctcsi.
