WHAT is The Ready Experience?
The Ready Experience is the College's comprehensive initiative to provide extracurricular and co-curricular engagement opportunities that complement and support curricular learning in the classroom.

The Ready Experience focuses on three primary outcomes, college ready, career ready and life ready.

College Ready – The student uses core co-curricular skills to maximize their learning experience and success in and beyond the classroom.

Career Ready – The student employs foundational workplace skills and professional competencies to effectively explore and launch their post-college careers.

Life Ready – The student connects college and career skills to real world situations and challenges.

WHY should students engage in The Ready Experience?

Students who are engaged in co-curricular activities and activities that supplement curricular experiences are more likely to have a higher cumulative GPA. (Webber, Krylow, & Zhang 2013).

Students who form relationships, informally or through College structures, have a greater sense of belonging and retain at higher rates (Tinto, 1993).
