Root Cause Analysis
Root cause analysis (RCA) is the process of discovering the root causes of problems to identify appropriate solutions. RCA assumes that it is much more effective to systematically prevent and solve for underlying issues rather than just treating ad hoc symptoms and putting out fires. In this course you’ll learn about RCA triggers and methods to outline a six-step root cause analysis process that promotes critical thinking, creative collaboration, countermeasure analysis and solution verification. You’ll be able to define roles and responsibilities, as well as program goals, measures, and standards.
