Computer Technology

It's virtually impossible to work in today's world without computers. Widespread use in business, industry, education, and government has created a demand for trained computer professionals. If you consider yourself "into computers," consider being the person who designs them, builds them, maintains them, repairs them, or even teaches others how to use them. And jobs are plentiful! Computer support specialists are ranked in the top ten fastest growing career fields in South Carolina by the US Department of Labor. Hands-on training is emphasized as students prepare for entry-level positions in the information technology field. Upon graduation, employment opportunities are available in a wide range of computing environments.
