Teamwork is critical. When you are assigned group projects in school, it will help you see how important working together for a common goal really is. When people get along, communicate well and learn to deal with difference of opinion on the best way to do things, output soars! We don't want people to check their brains at the door...input really helps us find a better, safer, faster way to do work and this pays off.
We love to promote from within. Our Leads, R&D Technicians and Supervisors and even our President started in floor operations. Moving up depends on building leadership skills, being a good example for others in how you work, and having good values and a strong work ethic. That means getting the job done in order to deliver high quality products to our customers.

We believe the employment outlook is great -- what we do is essential. If something is made, cutting is involved at some part of the process. Cutting tools make it possible to manufacture.
We offer apprenticeships for high school students through the Career Centers and for those attending area technical colleges. We also work with Clemson University for co-op engineers and interns.
