EMPLOYMENT OUTLOOK

We offer internships/co-op positions all year round for college students enrolled in a 4-year program. We also have apprenticeship programs for machine builders and controls technicians/electricians to help pay for their associates degree.

IF I COULD TALK TO MY YOUNGER SELF...

If I could go back in time and have a conversation with my middle school self, I would tell myself to be open to so many careers-- do not pigeon hole yourself with one thing-- look into so many industries in the area/outside of the area and take classes outside of your comfort zone. You never know what you may find a passion with or how an industry/job profession may change your future outlook.

OUR COMMUNITY SERVICE

The JRCCF (JR Community Care Fund) is an employee-led initiative that puts on fundraisers throughout the year. Our fundraisers aim to generate employee engagement and camaraderie, ranging from a Weight Loss Challenge and Softball Tournament to Chili Cook-offs and flower bouquet sales. The donations from these fundraisers are matched dollar for dollar by JR, which shows that our dedication to our community goes far beyond automated equipment.

The funds we raise all year long are distributed amongst different local charities that JR employees nominate and vote for!

We have a community outreach program we set up volunteer opportunities with like FIRST robotics!

We also are big believers in Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion-- we have a committee dedicated to the advancement and fostering of an inclusive environment at JR Automation.
