Order A Transcript

General Information

  • A transcript is issued only at the written request of the student. A transcript is a complete copy of a student's academic record at the time that it is issued and it contains all credit course work taken while enrolled at Tri-County Technical College.
  • Transcript request are only accepted from the student/alumni.
  • Picture identification is required for all transcripts requested in person and when picked up.
  • Tri-County Technical College does not issue or reproduce transcripts from other institutions. Requests for transcripts of work taken at other institutions must be directed to the institution concerned.
  • Transcript requests are not accepted via telephone, fax, or email.
  • Tri-County Technical College does not fax transcripts.
  • Electronic signatures are not accepted unless the transcript request comes through the National Student Clearinghouse.

Transcript delivery will be through PDF-email or mail. PDF-email is the quickest way to have your transcript sent. If you choose mail or pick-up, please note the times below.  The US Postal service is experiencing an unprecedented volume increase and limited employee availability due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Transcript requests are only accepted from the student/alumni and will not be released to anyone except the student.

Picture Identification of the student/alumni is required for transcripts selected for pick-up.

Processing Times

  • Transcript request submitted for pick-up at the Pendleton Campus will be available within 12 to 24 hours. During peak times, a 24 to 48-hour processing time will be required.
  • Transcript request submitted for electronic (PDF) transcripts will be sent the same day as the request. Students will receive an email once the transcript has been delivered and viewed.
  • Transcript request submitted to the Information Desks of the Anderson, Easley, and Oconee Campuses will be processed within 48 hours. If you order on-line and prefer to pick up from a community campus, please make sure to indicate this on the “Special Instructions” tab.

To ensure that your transcript arrives in a timely manner, please provide the complete and correct mailing or email address of the institution, business, or individual recipient.

If you are requesting a transcript to be sent to a Credential Assembly Service (CAS), the quickest way to have your transcript sent is through PDF-email. When requesting through the National Student Clearinghouse, be sure to enter your CAS Transcript ID in the appropriate field so it will be processed correctly.

Current Students
Unofficial Transcripts
You may obtain unofficial transcripts in MyTCTC free of charge. Log into MyTCTC (mytctc.edu), select the Academic Transcript Tile, and View Unofficial Transcript link.

Aside from MyTCTC, unofficial transcripts can only be printed and picked up in TC Central, First Floor, Ruby Hicks (Pendleton Campus) and the front desk at Anderson/Easley/Oconee Campus. The cost for an unofficial transcript is $9.25.

Official Transcripts
The quickest and most convenient way to order official transcripts is to order on-line via the National Student Clearinghouse.

  • Order Online: You can request a transcript, via the National Student Clearinghouse. Transcripts are $9.25 each and must be paid for upon request. You will need a credit or debit card to order on-line.
  • Order in Person: Transcripts may be requested in TC Central, First Floor, Ruby Hicks (Pendleton Campus) and at the Main Information Desk at the Anderson/Easley/Oconee Campuses. If requesting in person at the Pendleton Campus, computers will be provided for use.  If requesting at the Anderson/Easley/Oconee campus, students will be directed to the computer lab for requesting. Transcripts are $9.25 each and must be paid for upon request. You will need a credit or debit card to order on-line.
