Patriots’ Place, a resource center specifically for our student veterans, opened in the Fall of 2013 on TCTC’s Pendleton Campus. Offering a social and study area with refreshments, Patriots’ Place gives our student veterans an area where they can relax, study and socialize with other student veterans. Local community veteran support agencies will also be available during the school year to help provide access to available resources.  Visit Patriots’ Place for a current schedule of agencies and hours.

Location: Anderson Hall 109, Pendleton Campus

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. -9 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Tri-County Technical College Student Veterans Association
The TCTC Student Veterans (TCTC SVA) links veterans and their family members from all branches of military service who have served during times of peace and times of war. The organization strives to support veterans by providing a safe environment for student veterans to help one another facilitate the transition from military life to the college community TCTC SVA creates a positive social network based on fellowship, mentor-ship, and camaraderie. Through community and campus service, the TCTC Student Veterans work to raise awareness on veteran’s issues. For more information, please contact Travis Durham at tdurha15@tctc.edu.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Tri-County Technical College is home to the first and only memorial to the military veterans of Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens Counties who paid the supreme sacrifice in Vietnam. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is chronicled in a book published in 2012 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the College titled "Tri-County Technical College: Five Decades of Distinction."
