If you are detail-oriented and have great organizational, time-management, communication and technological skills, you have come to the right place. Each pathway within our program is designed to help you align your studies with your goals. Whether you choose an emphasis in Marketing, Banking & Finance, Management, or Operations Management, you’ll have a solid foundation in core concepts for working in these professional environments. Plus, with the specialized fields of study, you’ll gain a competitive edge in the market place.

Banking & Finance
This emphasis is designed for students interested in acquiring the skills needed to succeed in the banking and finance industry. From the core program to the specialized electives, you’ll concentrate on management skills, bank operations, credit and collections and customer service, all of which will help you gain entry-level positions in this exciting field.
Entrepreneur
In addition to the knowledge, skills and abilities developed in the Business Administration degree, an emphasis in Entrepreneur/Small Business expands the students’ understanding of how to develop and manage entrepreneurial enterprises.
Management
Successful organizations are operated by good managers. Businesses and industries are expanding in South Carolina, creating excellent opportunities for trained managers in marketing, retail, human resources, administration, finance, supervision, and information management. Management students receive broad training in the major areas of management and are well prepared to provide leadership in the changing workplace. Students will learn techniques for team building, problem solving, and effective resource utilization.
Marketing
From product promotions to consumer behaviors and from retail strategies to advertising, the emphasis on Marketing is one of our top-requested programs by students and employers. Marketing is used in nearly every career field and the training you will receive will help you succeed no matter where you find your passion.
Operations Management
With this pathway, you’ll learn what it takes to create the highest level of efficiency possible within an organization. From studying about materials and labor, goods and services, and supply and demand, you’ll gain the knowledge needed to maximize value for the consumer and profit for the company.

Transfer Agreements
For students who wish to continue work toward a four-year degree, we encourage you to work with your advisor on the steps that are best for your plans. We do have agreements already in place for students to work toward a Bachelor in Science degree in Business Administration from The Citadel and from Southern Wesleyan University (with concentrations in Accounting, Management, or Small Business and Entrepreneurship).
