CNC Programming and Operations

Virtually all industries depend on precisely machined parts when building their products. Tri-County's CNC Programming and Operations program was developed to meet the demand for highly skilled technicians in this specialized field of computerized machining operations. Created with employer input each step of the way, our CNC graduates will be in high demand for great-paying jobs with advanced manufacturers in the Upstate who are using the latest technologies to stay competitive in the global marketplace.

The CNC Programming and Operations will prepare you to work as a CNC /programmer and operator with manufacturers requiring high production volumes or short run batches of discrete parts.  In addition to writing CNC programs, students will learn CAD design and analysis applications, create precision set-ups, select tooling, and operate a variety of CNC milling and turning centers.
